Menu: Back What is Code Bank...... Code Bank is a ground up developed web application, built using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server 2000 and ADO.NET. It's purpose is to provide a easy to use interface that will facilitate a central code repository. During my time as a developer there have been countless situations whereby I (like many others) researched code using the web (or other means), copy, paste, modify or simply create a great piece of code from the ground-up. Typically, site builders and coders alike only maintain their own personal repositories of experiences and situations. While working on projects or other items, this tool can be easily accessed on the network. Once here, you can create a project and some simple information to go along with it, the project title, what it is, how long it took to design, build or otherwise, url's denoting where it resides to download, a case study url, working example or just simply paste the code in the project details itself. Finally, associate it with one or more categories and save it, for you and everyone else. Code Bank is basic, functional and by no means a polished finish product.
